1. Introduction
At Laia Avcom S.L. (hereinafter "we" or "us" or "our" or "Laiatech" or "Laia"), we sincerely care about privacy, security and transparency; these basic elements play a substantial role in our company's mission. This privacy notice covers the Laia service, which is a branded service owned and operated by Laia Avcom S.L., Laiatech/Laia branded products, software and websites. It describes how and why we collect, store and process personal data from users who interact with us, visit our websites, use our services, use our interactive applications or other products and services, including software downloads.

- Through analytics through providers such as Google Analytics or Hubspot.
- Through an authorized Laia partner who resells Laia products or services.
- Through a customer of an authorized partner who purchases Laia's products or services.
- Google will manage the interoperability of the Google Hangout service.
- Microsoft will manage the interoperability of MS Teams services.
- If enabled, from Google to store your Google account details for authentication of YouTube live recording and YouTube to store your live recording link, title and time of the stream.
From service providers, for the third-party tools we use to manage day-to-day business operations, including companies such as:
- Zoho, or similar, to manage customers and processes.
- Zoho/Hubspot/Mailchimp, or the like, to communicate with you.
- Social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube for collaboration and advertising.
4. Type of data we collect
Laia collects data in order to provide the best experiences we can when you visit Laia branded websites or use Laia branded products and services. Please note that it is possible to visit our websites without providing personal data about yourself. However, in order for you to make the best possible use of the resources and information we offer on our website (e.g. download product brochures, e-books, sign up for our newsletter or start a software trial), we will need to collect some personal data from you in order to provide the services and information you request from us. You may not be able to use some of our products and services if you decline our collection of your personal data.

We process the personal data you provide to us in strict accordance with the principles described in this privacy notice. We have the following purposes and lawful bases for collecting and using your personal data:
1. To enable you to use our services: in order to use Laia's service you have to activate an account with Laia or be invited by your service administrator. Upon such invitation and/or activation we require some personal data, including contact details, login information, payment details (if relevant), etc. This processing is based on the contract finished when subscribing to the services, either directly or through Laia's afiliated partner who is authorized to sell Laia's service.
2. Provision of services: In order to operate and deliver our services, products, software and websites effectively, Laia may process personal data such as demographic information, time zone, occupation, call history, preferred user settings and other information related to your use of the services or recommendation of products based on your current device or location, or send important notifications to communicate information necessary for your continued use of our products or services. Laia processes such personal data based on our legitimate interest in providing our services, products, software and websites to you effectively.
3. Customer support: We may use the data to diagnose and resolve service and product problems and issues, as well as to provide more effective customer support. Laia processes such personal data based on our legitimate interests in fulfilling our contractual and legal obligations under a contract or order.

As part of the delivery of products and services, Laia works with several afiliated partners who are authorized to sell Laia-branded products or services on behalf of Laia.
We also use some tools administered by third-party service providers to fulfill the delivery of certain aspects of our products and services.
We will never ever provide or sell personal data to organizations not recognized as an affiliated partner of Laia, or otherwise connected to help us deliver operations to customers essential to our products and services.

- Some of these companies may operate and store data outside the EU.
- All of our third-party service providers are checked to ensure that they comply with EU and applicable local privacy and data security regulations.
- All processing by such third parties is subject to a data processing agreement which, among other things, limits the use of personal data by such third parties to the performance of the agreed services.

- Presenters: At the request of any person hosting and/or presenting information at a conference ("presenters"), the Laia service may collect certain personal data and other information that any presenter at any conference may view and may be shared with other users of the service at the request of a presenter or as an automatic feature of the service, including without limitation:

- Any other personal data or other information that you provide to the service or that is requested by any presenter.
- Storage: Personal Data and other information may be stored and/or processed at multiple locations where Laia or its afiliates maintain facilities. 8. Data protection and security
In operating the Laia service and Laia branded products, Laia takes great care to ensure all reasonable precautions - including administrative, technical and physical measures - to safeguard your personal data against loss, theft and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
- Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption: all Laia branded websites and online services or products always use SSL encryption where personal data is collected.
- To make purchases on these services, you must use an SSL-enabled browser such as Safari, Firefox or Chrome.
- Doing so protects the confidentiality of your personal data while it is transmitted over the Internet.
- Our global network: Laia Service is deployed through a network of globally distributed resources that constitute the Laia Service Network as owned and operated by Laia.
- Services are hosted and maintained at geographically specific "points of presence" (PoP) as well as cloud-based services that have global availability.
- Laia's PoPs are hosted in
data centers managed by facility service providers. Each facility meets or exceeds international compliance standards of
security. - Personal data collected through the Laiatech service may be stored and processed in any country in which Laiatech and its affiliates maintain facilities.
- By registering and using Laia's services, you consent to the transfer of data to any country in which Laia and its filiales have facilities, as well as to the use and disclosure of your personal data as described in this privacy notice.
9. Access and control of your personal data
You have the right to access the information we hold about you at any time, as well as the right to request that the personal data we store about you be deleted, modified or exported for portability purposes.
To access, modify or export your personal information, or to request that we delete your personal data, please send your request by email to support@laiatech.com. The request will be processed and completed in compliance with our privacy notice, terms of service, our business relationship and any applicable data privacy laws in your country.
If the processing is based on your consent, you may also withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of the consent-based processing prior to your withdrawal). If you have previously consented to receive promotional email communications from us, you can use the unsubscribe function at the bottom of our emails to unsubscribe from our emails at any time ("withdraw your consent"). If you have an active Laia account, it is not possible to opt out of receiving basic emails as we need to communicate basic information, where applicable, to users to continue account delivery. As Laia is headquartered in Spain, we abide by the Spanish Data Protection Directive as well as the EU GDPR ("general data protection regulation") to ensure that our privacy policy is respected.

Laia is committed to the higheststandardsof data security, privacy and transparency. To this end, Laia complies with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and Organic Law 3/2018 as a data controller and data processor. 11. Future changes to our privacy notice
As our business grows and our services and products evolve, this privacy notice may change, or other privacy notices may be written and published specifically to address new offerings or to keep up with data privacy laws. When changes are material, we will first be sure to let you know of any upcoming changes by attempting to contact you directly by email, or through our user interfaces, or indirectly through your authorized partner who is reselling Laia's service or product.
12. Cookies Policy
Laia Avcom S.L. in compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, 2002, of services of the information society and electronic commerce (LSSI). Consolidated text as of May 10, 2014 (Articles 2 in relation to the definition of Annex a), 22.2, 37, 38.4 g), 38.3 i)) informs about the Cookies Policy of its website through the following paragraphs.
